Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all looking to complete late deals as the final days of the January transfer window begin. Arsenal have signed Leandro Trossard and will today wrap up the shock £21m capture of Polish centre-back Jakub Kiwior, who has now passed a medical. A surprise loan move for Eduardo Camavinga has been dismissed by Real Madrid while they have also started talks with LaLiga stars Martin Zubimendi and Ivan Fresneda.

Chelsea have officially signed PSV Eindhoven star Noni Madueke in their sixth deal of the month. Moves to add a midfielder are continuing after failing to sign Moises Caicedo and Yves Bissouma.

Spurs are pushing to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma and remain hopeful over an agreement for Sporting Lisbon wing-back Pedro Porro. Leandro Trossard’s agent, Josy Comhair, has blamed Tottenham’s cautious approach for them failing to sign the new Arsenal star.

He told reporters: “Spurs were in contact with us for the last two weeks. But it was, ‘We want him, but wait this, wait that’.”

Spezia coach unhappy with Kiwior deal

Luca Gotti has expressed his disappointment with Jakub Kiwior joining Arsenal.

“I am very happy for Kiwior and for the opportunity created,” he told reporters.

“It’s the club’s biggest sale ever and I probably think that the club is also happy, and hopefully we will be at the end of the journey as well.

Count ‘set to leave Spurs’

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte will depart the club at the end of the season.

That is according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claims that the club have no intention of offering him a new contract past his current deal’s expiry in the summer.

The report adds that Spurs are unhappy with Conte’s regular public criticism and he will likely return to Italy.
