Stephen Curry‘s decision to sign with Under Armor in 2013 was a risky move, considering the brand was not as established in the basketball shoe market as competitors like Nike and Adidas. However, Curry’s commitment to Under Armor paid off as the brand’s basketball sneaker line, anchored by the Curry signature shoe series, has become extremely popular. The Curry shoes have consistently been among the best-selling in recent years and have helped solidify Under Armour’s place in the competitive sneaker industry.
Despite their commercial success, the Curry shoes have not always been all that well received.
