Jake Paul boxing rumors, news: Updates around possible opponent Andrew Tate

As he continues his boxing career, YouTuber Jake Paul has received fight offers from various people. Some are athletes, while others are social media stars.

Paul just recently fought MMA legend Anderson Silva, beating him via unanimous decision. “The Problem Child” has become a hot commodity. It’s up in the air, whether he will accept certain fights, but that doesn’t mean he won’t tease boxing fans.

That is what he did when he posted a video of himself and the controversial Andrew Tate. The video stated that the two have started “negotiations” for a fight down the road.

The Sporting News will provide and update a comprehensive timeline of Paul and those who wish to face him inside a boxing ring.

Will Jake Paul fight Andrew Tate?

November 10, 2022: A Tate spokesperson told Mirror fighting after the above video was released, “Negotiations have begun between the two parties, it’s a fight the fans have been asking for and it’s an event the world will remember.”

Tate is a former kickboxer who also competed in MMA. Known as “The King of Toxic Masculinity,” the Big Brother alum has been banned from multiple social media platforms due to what he has stated on podcasts regarding women, among other controversial topics.

Paul initially showed support for Tate following his ban. There were rumors of a fight between Tate and Jake’s brother Logan, who has called out Tate over his views of him.

“I don’t think he gets in the ring with one of us,” Jake said during an episode of Logan’s “ImPaulsive” podcast, via The New York Post. “It’s too big of a risk for him. He’s ‘alpha male,’ right? That’s his whole entire thing about him. And when he loses — he will lose to either one of us he fights — his whole schtick about him and all the women will be like, ‘Yeah!’ and his whole schtick of him goes out the window.”

Tate has also been called out by KSI. Nothing is official as of now, as there is no set date or location for a potential clash.

Will Jake Paul fight Tommy Fury?

A fight years in the making, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury have had a whirlwind of a rivalry. Paul and Fury were supposed to fight twice over the past year. Fury pulled out of a fight with Paul in December 2021 because of a rib injury. Tyron Woodley ended up taking his place, with Paul knocking the former UFC champion out.

The two then were scheduled to fight one another in August. Visa issues for Fury forced the bout to be canceled again. He was denied entry to the United States. The issue was with his ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authority) documents.

Since then, Paul has called out Tommy’s half-brother and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. John Fury, Tommys father, told Mirror fighting that he talked with Paul’s team not long ago about putting the fight with Tommy back on the table. The bout would most likely have to be in the UK, as John is also not allowed in the US

Tommy, the Love Island star, last fought in April, beating Daniel Bocianski via points.

November 13, 2022: Tommy was supposed to fight Paul Bamba on the Floyd Mayweather-Deji undercard, but came into the fight overweight. There were then rumors that two different weight contracts were sent. Fury fought Rolly Lambert in an exhibition and then called out Paul, who was ringside. After challenging Paul, the two almost started brawling. John also got involved, challenging Paul to a fight.

November 15, 2022: At a press conference, John Fury stated that there was a verbal agreement to make Paul vs. Fury in February. Jake agreed to fight Tommy in the UK if Tommy signed a signed contract. February is when Tommy’s baby is due.

November 18, 2022: Tommy Fury later tweeted that Jake Paul needs to handle negotiations properly. It is unknown what he is willing to add into meetings to make a fight possible.

Will Jake Paul fight KSI?

Paul and KSI have been in a war of words since 2018. Jake’s brother Logan ended up fighting KSI in a boxing ring twice. Since those bouts, Jake and KSI have teased fighting one another. Now, a clash between the two YouTubers appears closer than ever.

August 8, 2022: In August, KSI presented a challenge to Paul to fight at Wembley Stadium in London next year. The opponent’s purse would be on the line.

“I’m going to send you a contract,” KSI said. “We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. One hundred percent of the purse will be on the line. Put your money where your mouth is, and let’s finally end this. Will you accept?”

Paul agreed to the fight and then made another bet: The loser would have to admit the winner is the better boxer. KSI and Paul will both be at the Mayweather-Deji event. Deji is KSI’s brother, while Paul beat Deji in a boxing fight years ago. There is a chance KSI and Paul clash before anything could even become official.

KSI will reportedly return to the ring in January. If he wins against whoever his opponent may be, we could be on a collision course for the ultimate YouTube boxing fight.

Will Jake Paul fight Nate Diaz?

Diaz finished his UFC contract with a win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. While his future is unknown for post-UFC, the Stockton, Calif., native wouldn’t say no to a boxing match.

Diaz was at the Paul-Silva fight to cheer on teammate Chris Avila, who beat Doctor Mike. He didn’t seem to dismiss a potential fight with Paul when he spoke with i-D Boxing.

“(Paul) is for sure one of the options,” Diaz said before the Paul-Silva bout, via MMA Fighting. “He’s doing big stuff. He’s doing big things. He’s got a big fight ahead of him. If he wins that, I’m sure people will be really impressed by it. And if Anderson does his thing on him, that’s impressive also. Now we’ve got a fight on his hands. I’m looking forward to it. (Paul vs. Silva is) 50-50. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens.”

October 29, 2022: Paul has said in the past that he has beef with Diaz. That became more evident when Team Diaz and Team Paul got into a skirmish backstage on fight night.

With Diaz now considered a free agent, is this the right time to set up a fight with Paul?
