Best images from the Thunder’s 112-111 loss to the Heat

The Oklahoma City Thunder were not able to win their first TNT game in over two years as they fell to the shorthanded Miami Heat, 112-111.

A historic night at the line helped the Heat secure the win despite only having eight players available for most of the game with the only healthy start being Jimmy Butler.

The Heat shot a perfect 40-for-40 from the free-throw line. A new NBA record for most made team free throws without a miss in a single game. The 1982 Utah Jazz previously held it at 39.

Meanwhile, Butler also made history as he sank 23 free throws himself and scored 35 points on 6-of-17 shooting. This was the first time in NBA history that someone scored 35 points in a game with six or fewer made shots.

The Thunder were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished with 26 points and Josh Giddey, who collected a triple-double of 18 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

Let’s take a look at the best photos from the Thunder’s one-point loss.
